Diamer Basha Dam — Pakistan's Largest 3D Signage Installation | "Power The World"

This is Design Hub's greatest achievement to date — and one of the most extraordinary signage projects ever completed in Pakistan.

Commissioned for the iconic Diamer Basha Dam site, the project required the design, fabrication, transportation, and installation of a monumental 3D letter installation reading "Power The World" — each letter engineered to stand 12 metres tall across a total span of 71 metres, making it the largest 3D signage installation in Pakistan's history.

The project was led from our Islamabad warehouse under the direction of Mr. Ijaz Ahmed, who oversaw the entire operation on-site. From day one, the scale of the challenge was clear — these were not ordinary signs. The sheer size of the letters demanded precision engineering, heavy-duty fabrication, and meticulous planning for transport through mountainous terrain from Islamabad all the way to the remote Diamer Basha Dam site. The high-altitude location brought extreme wind conditions that added a significant layer of complexity to both logistics and installation safety.

The timeline was unforgiving — a maximum window of 25 to 30 days to fabricate, transport, and fully install the main "Power The World" letters along with several additional signage pieces at the site. Design Hub accepted the challenge without hesitation.

Work began on 21st October 2023. To meet the 21st November deadline, our team ran Day and Night double shifts at the Islamabad warehouse — fabricating at pace without compromising structural integrity or finish quality. Despite the mountain roads, the extreme winds, and the sheer physical scale of the installation, every letter was delivered, positioned, and secured on schedule.

The project was completed in just 25 days — six days ahead of the maximum window — a feat of engineering, project management, and sheer determination that the Design Hub team is immensely proud of.
