PowerChina-FWO JV Headquarters — Monumental 3D Rooftop Signage | Diamer Basha Dam Site

In 2023, Design Hub was once again commissioned by PowerChina-FWO JV — the principal contractor overseeing all construction operations at the Diamer Basha Dam site — to design, fabricate, and install the main building top signage for their headquarters facility on site.

The signage was engineered for permanence and impact. The 3D letters and logo were fabricated from GI (Galvanised Iron) sheet with powder-coated colour finish — chosen for its structural strength and long-term resistance to the harsh mountain environment. The PowerChina logo was finished with adhesive vinyl with lamination, providing an additional layer of UV and weather protection to keep the branding sharp and vivid for years to come.

At 14 metres wide and 3.5 metres tall, this was a substantial rooftop installation — highly visible across the dam site and befitting the scale of the PowerChina-FWO JV's presence on Pakistan's most significant infrastructure project. The entire process — from fabrication at our Peshawar studio to transportation across mountain terrain and final rooftop installation at the dam site — was completed in just 15 days.

This marks Design Hub's third consecutive project at Diamer Basha Dam, all commissioned through the same trusted contractor relationship — a clear reflection of the confidence PowerChina-FWO JV placed in our team to deliver on one of Pakistan's most high-profile construction sites.
