Corporate Vinyl Branding & 3D Rooftop Signage for PowerChina — Asia's Largest Concrete Plant & HQ Building at Diamer Basha Dam
Following the landmark "Power The World" 3D signage installation, Design Hub was trusted once again by PowerChina-FWO JV and DBCG to deliver two further projects at the Diamer Basha Dam site — corporate vinyl branding for Asia's largest concrete plant and rooftop 3D signage for the PowerChina-FWO JV headquarters building — both completed within the same year and through the same trusted contractor relationship. For the concrete plant, PowerChina required prominent corporate branding that could withstand the harsh high-altitude mountain environment long-term. Design Hub specified and installed a premium UV-resistant vinyl — engineered for prolonged sun exposure and temperature variation — across a 7.5m × 7.5m surface, featuring the PowerChina corporate logo with precision alignment and a flawless finish despite the remote installation conditions. For the headquarters building, our team designed and fabricated a 14m × 3.5m rooftop 3D signage installation using GI sheet with a powder-coated colour finish — selected for structural strength and corrosion resistance in harsh outdoor environments. The PowerChina logo was applied in adhesive vinyl with full lamination for additional UV and weather protection, ensuring long-term brand clarity across the dam site. The completed headquarters signage was fabricated at our Peshawar studio, transported through mountain terrain, and installed on the rooftop within just 15 days. Three projects, one site, one trusted partner. For Design Hub, the Diamer Basha Dam chapter is a statement — that a studio from Peshawar can deliver work of national significance in Pakistan's most demanding environments, and do it better than anyone else.

Challenge
Installing large-format corporate vinyl branding at a remote, high-altitude mountain site with extreme weather and sun exposure — requiring premium UV-resistant vinyl specification to ensure long-term durability Fabricating and installing a 14m × 3.5m rooftop 3D signage installation on the main PowerChina-FWO JV headquarters building using GI sheet with powder-coated finish and laminated vinyl logo — engineered to withstand the harsh mountain environment permanently Transporting fabricated signage and materials from Peshawar to the remote Diamer Basha Dam site through challenging mountain terrain within a tight 15-day delivery window Managing two distinct signage deliverables — the concrete plant vinyl branding and the HQ building rooftop signage — simultaneously within the same project timeline and contractor relationship
Approach
Both projects were commissioned through the same trusted contractor relationship established during the landmark "Power The World" 3D signage installation at Diamer Basha Dam. For the PowerChina Concrete Plant vinyl branding, Design Hub specified and supplied a premium UV-resistant vinyl — engineered for prolonged sun exposure, temperature variation, and the demanding high-altitude mountain climate — and installed a 7.5m × 7.5m corporate branding installation featuring the PowerChina company logo across the plant facade. For the PowerChina-FWO JV Headquarters rooftop signage, our team designed and fabricated a 14m × 3.5m 3D signage installation using GI (Galvanised Iron) sheet with powder-coated colour finish for structural strength and weather resistance, with the PowerChina logo applied in adhesive vinyl with lamination for long-term UV and weather protection. The completed signage was transported from our Peshawar studio to the dam site through mountain terrain and installed on the headquarters rooftop within a 15-day window — on time and to specification.
Outcome
Both deliverables — the 7.5m × 7.5m UV-resistant vinyl corporate branding at Asia's largest concrete plant and the 14m × 3.5m powder-coated GI sheet rooftop signage at the PowerChina-FWO JV headquarters — were successfully completed and installed at the Diamer Basha Dam site within their respective deadlines. The rooftop signage was fully fabricated in Peshawar, transported through mountain terrain, and installed within 15 days. These projects mark Design Hub's second and third consecutive commissions at Diamer Basha Dam — all awarded through the same contractor relationship — establishing Design Hub as the undisputed signage partner of choice for Pakistan's most significant national infrastructure project.
